We all have a burning passion for philanthropy and positively contributing to the lives of others!
What is the difference between Philanthropy and Charity?
The difference commonly cited is that charity relieves the pains of social problems, whereas philanthropy attempts to solve those problems at their root causes (the difference between giving a hungry man a fish, and teaching him how to fish for himself). – Wikipedia
It is with great pride and pleasure that I announce that in 2015 I will build a community program for unemployed youth and adults returning to work after retrenchment, illness or having children.
After much success with trial community workshops last year I am taking it Victoria wide in 2015.
I will fund and run free workshops in communities, which will help re-engage our unemployed youth back into either full time work or study.
There will also be workshops more specific to adults looking to return to work after long-term unemployment.
What skills and knowledge will the workshops give them?
A sense of Purpose and Direction
Skills, Passions Values and Personality – Assessments
Work life balance skills
Goal setting skills
How to make dynamic choices
I will also partner with other organisations to help with the additional areas necessary to support participants to find the right employment or study.
How can you or your business help and benefit at the same time?
By sponsoring a workshop, you will contribute to making sure I can provide as many of these events in as many communities as possible. You will be acknowledged on all advertising, print media, websites and at the events. Sponsorships start from as little as $100
My businesses – Able Corporate Training and Able Corporate Promotions will contribute 10% of all profits each quarter to help run the program.
You may also help indirectly by using Able Corporate Promotions for all of your Promotional Merchandise needs or Able Corporate Training for all of your Training & Development needs or Service and Quality reviews.
